Her casting was one of the most anticipated parts of Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2, given how much fans love the independent, brash Earthbender. Toph was voiced by Michaela Jill Murphy in the animated series.Cech joins returning cast members including Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Ken Leung, and Daniel Dae Kim. Netflix hasn't announced a release window for Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2, but given that it just started production, it'll likely be a little while. IGN gave Season 1 a 7/10, writing that it "enriches the original story with meaningful new material, but its breakneck pacing, exposition-heavy dialogue, and hit-or-miss effects aren’t precisely in balance."
