Transformers One isn't in theaters until later this week, but franchise producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura is already looking toward the series' next moves.Di Bonaventura provided a few updates in a recent interview with Collider, teasing his plans for the series in both live action and animation. As for the latter, di Bonaventura says they're planning on a sequel to Transformers One, depending on its success at the box office, and it will "exist completely separately to whatever we do live-action." The first animated Transformers movie in more than 40 years is currently tracking for a decent debut in the $30 million range domestically, according to Deadline. On the live-action front, di Bonaventura confirmed that the next live-action Transformers film, following Rise of the Beasts, will be the G.I. Joe crossover that was officially revealed at CinemaCon earlier this year. At the time, Paramount said that movie would hit theaters in 2025 or 2026. Di Bonaventura cautioned that it's still in early development, but also teased how the emotional story in Transformers One might affect the series' future in live-action.The next live-action Transformers film will be the G.I. Joe crossover."Where it will be particularly affected is the fact that we now know what these robots are capable of emotionally in a way," he told the outlet. "So we're going to have to figure out how to create that room, that we can afford that, and create a story that you can take more advantage of that. So one of the things that I'm particularly interested in doing, and we're still in the development phase, so nothing is by any means written in stone, but I think we need to do more now from the robot point of view in the live-action because that's the only way you're really going to get inside them."Di Bonaventura continued to discuss how the series might balance the human story vs. the robot story. Due to its place very early in the franchise's timeline, Transformers One has no human characters, instead largely focusing on the origins of Optimus Prime and Megatron. Moving forward, the producer said the robots' own drives, rather than their reactions to the human plot, "has to be part of that story now.""I think we need to do more now from the robot point of view in the live-action because that's the only way you're really going to get inside them."

The 2000s had plenty of games set in the Aliens universe, but one project that never saw the light of day was Aliens: Crucible which Obsidian game designer Josh Sawyer was developing for Sega back in 2006.
Responding to a tweet asking video game developers about their “one that got away” projects, Sawyer revealed concept art for the game, an action-RPG that contained a “lot of cool ideas” but was ultimately shelved by Sega so that Obsidian could work on Alpha Protocol. It was only in 2009 when Sega confirmed that Aliens: Crucible had been canceled.
“There were a lot of cool ideas in the works, but you don’t ship ideas,” Sawyer tweeted. “The biggest lesson I learned from the experience is that if you don’t have playable levels, you don’t have much of a game–there are some ex…
Call of Duty’s Season 5 adds an ambitious new investigative objective mode to Black Ops Cold War called Double Agent. Similar to both Among Us and Trouble in Terrorist Town, Double Agent is a mode where certain players are assigned roles to try to sabotage a mission and stay incognito, while the rest of the competitors must work to uncover their identities. It’s a much different sort of experience to see inside a Call of Duty game, but based on our impressions so far, it doesn’t function well in public matches. Actor Nicolas Cage is set to play a fictional version of himself in the movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, but he has no plans to ever watch the film. It would be too weird.
“I will never see this movie,” Cage told Variety. “I’m told it’s a good movie. I’m told people love it and are enjoying the ride, but I made that for the audience. It’s too much for me to go to the premiere and sit there with everybody. Psychologically, that’s too bizarre and whacked out for me.”
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent will be released on April 22, 2022.
Cage plays himself and gets mixed up with a drug kingpin and later becomes an informant for the CIA. In the movie, Cage is suffering through debt and a strained relationship with his daughter. To make some cash, Cage …

As the current Pokemon TCG Pocket meta continues to shake out, players are quickly figuring out which decks, cards, and strategies are powerful, which are safe, and which are…wildly inconsistent. And there's one card that everyone seems to agree they hate, whether they're using it or facing an opponent with it: Misty.Misty is a Supporter card, essentially a type of card that can be played once per turn to give yourself an advantageous effect. Misty is explicitly designed for use in decks featuring water-type Pokemon, and comes with the following effect: "Choose one of your water-type Pokemon, and flip a coin until you get tails. For each hads, take a water-type Energy from your Energy Zone and attach it to that Pokemon." Pokemon need energy to use attacks on opponents…

Three years ago, Ubisoft promised it would start making its own blockchain games. Now it appears to have done it, having stealth-launched a full-blown web3 game last week called Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles on PC.Champions Tactics is billed as a "PVP tactical RPG game on PC", and is both developed and published by Ubisoft. It involves collectible figurines of various warriors from the in-game fantasy world of Grimoria, which players assemble into squads of three and then battle in turn-based combat that looks oddly reminscent of Darkest Dungeon, of all things. It's not evident from the trailer that this is a web3 game at all, but a quick glance at the game's website or even its official X/Twitter page reveals this immediately.…
